Why did I decide to create the Club?

After my award-winning book Lose the Diet came out, I realized that although people were buying it, they needed additional SUPPORT. Also, I want my one-to-one clients to have ONGOING support.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer to have someone coach me, and to be part of a group where we can support each other.  After all, that’s how you can achieve AMAZING success!  And, you CAN do it now too!

Why is the Lose the Diet Club different?

The average diet plan focuses on the physical aspects of weight gain. They tell you to stop eating so many calories, to stop consuming fat, to watch your intake of carbs or cholesterol. They may even provide you with pre-packaged processed food or diet pills. So how is that working for you? AND, how long can you sustain that?

What they DON’T tell you, is that it all has to do with mindset. (If you change your mindset and PERMANENTLY fix the problem, then the diet companies don’t sell allot of food or books, do they?)

Just think of how smart you already are. After all, you already know all there is to know about calories, fat grams, carbs, etc., right? All you have to do is look at a food label and it will break it all down for you. But, that “watching” your weight doesn’t work for long, does it? That’s because you still have the same mindset that you had when you started dieting.

So, the only way to PERMANENTLY change the weight is to change your mind, and re-connect with the reasons behind the cravings. I want to help you do that.  And, I’m here for you to answer your questions.

But, we have to admit…

If you’re looking for a place to talk about and analyze a bunch of numbers (how much you weight, how many calories you consume, what dress size you wear, etc., etc.,) then this is not the right place for you. This is because the Lose the Diet philosophy is about getting away from the NUMBERS.

All of the dieting, calculating, measuring and weighing is much too time consuming, and quite frankly, emotionally exhausting. And, we don’t want to waste YOUR time on something that will not help YOU.

After all, that’s why diets backfire. Focusing on the numbers damages your self esteem, which is the cornerstone of not only achieving, but maintaining a healthy weight.

Who am I to coach you?

First of all, I’VE BEEN THERE.

  • I’ve watched the scale and felt depressed when the “number” wasn’t what I wanted to see.
  • I’ve tried to follow specific diets that may have worked temporarily, only to be disappointed when I wound up back to “square one” and then some.
  • I’ve been down that winding road that went to nowhere.

This led me to study the mind-body connection. I became a mind-body wellness practitioner, and a board certified clinical hypnotherapist. During and after my training I worked with clients to help them unlock their own inner power. These clients were able to achieve results that they could not have achieved on a “DIE-IT”.

How long are you willing or able to count calories and points?

Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind, which is 87% of the mind! Numbers such as counting calories and points is a very CONSCIOUS thing. (That means you’re working with only 13% of the mind.)
